Assess
We start with how your firm actually works: matter types, intake, drafting, discovery, research, client communication, and the systems already in place. We also document unsanctioned AI use, without blame — it is data, not a disciplinary matter.
Example deliverables
- Workflow map by practice area
- Current-state AI use inventory
- System and vendor landscape review
- Risk and confidentiality assessment
Design
We design workflows first and select tools second. Each proposed workflow names the task, the tool, the inputs allowed, the reviewer, and the record kept. If a workflow cannot be supervised, it does not ship.
Example deliverables
- AI opportunity map, ranked by value and risk
- Tool recommendations with rationale
- Draft firm AI-use policy
- Review and supervision model
Implement
Deployment, configuration, and training happen together. Prompt and template libraries are built against your own matter types, and training is role-specific so partners, associates, paralegals, and staff each learn their part.
Example deliverables
- Configured tools and access controls
- Practice-specific prompt and template libraries
- Role-based training sessions
- Written procedures for review and escalation
Govern
Rules and tools both move. Governance keeps policy, vendor vetting, and training current, and gives partners a standing place to raise questions before they become problems.
Example deliverables
- Policy updates as guidance evolves
- Vendor due diligence for new tools
- Monthly training and refreshers
- Partner office hours and usage review
