Who we are
Négus AI is an independent consulting firm specializing in AI implementation and governance for legal practices. We exist because the hard part of AI in law is not access to tools — it is adopting them in a way that protects clients, satisfies professional obligations, and survives contact with the way a firm actually works.
We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice or legal services. We sit on the operational side: assessing where AI genuinely helps, designing practice-specific workflows, configuring and vetting tools, writing policies a partner would actually enforce, and training partners, associates, paralegals, and staff to use all of it responsibly.
Our team brings legal scholarship and cross-jurisdictional experience to the work. We read guidance the way it is written — including ABA Formal Opinion 512 and state bar direction such as the California State Bar's — and translate it into controls, review steps, and documentation your firm can point to.

Small and mid-sized law firms of roughly 10 to 150 lawyers — across personal injury, employment, immigration, family law, estate planning, and insurance defense — plus bar associations and practice groups through our CLE sessions.
Where we work
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and working with firms across the United States. Our team's legal experience spans the US, Francophone Africa, and the Indian Ocean region, and we work in English and French.
How we engage
Most firms start with a two-week diagnostic. From there, an implementation sprint builds and deploys the workflows, and an ongoing retainer keeps policy and training current as the rules evolve.
